This quilt was made using close to 15 different men's shirts with a modified,
non-traditional log cabin design.
I like to cut the shirts up before I start sewing. I break them down by removing all of the cuffs and buttons and then cut them all open at the shoulders and sides. Then I cut a million strips and put them all in a big pile next to my machine.
Then I sew the modified log cabins (without pinning of course!!)
and just lay them out on my design wall!
