Today I am starting a series of 4 memory quilts for a family,
including 3 young children,
who lost their father.
These quilts will be made from lots of his clothing which includes his
golf shirts, sweaters, button up shirts and knit shirts.
The family has chosen my strip design and they have picked out their backing and trim fabric.
I am really excited to work on this quilt for them because they are a really sweet family
and I know how much this will mean to them when it's all completed.
This will be a way that each child can have a piece of their father forever.
