Here is a fun project we just whipped up here at Mamaka Mills!
We used wooden embroidery hoops and cotton black fabric as the bases. We then sewed birds of all shapes and sizes from whatever scraps we had laying around the studio! Some of the birds are made with Satin, Polyester, Cotton and even some with Reflective Tape!!
Just machine quilt on a bird with a colorful branch, pull tight in the hoop, trim the edges and ta daa! You have a unique, expressive wall hanging that can be changed as often as you change your mind!!
