This quilt I made for my husband from some of his old uniforms and patches.
I made the squares using a log cabin technique and broke down the
uniform to remove any buttons, velcro, patches or triple folded seams.
After the squares were placed on the design wall, sewed
and after the quilt was long arm quilted, I sewed on the patches.
Most of the patches I removed from the old uniforms
but some we ordered new online.
