Today I started on a quilt made from recycled fabric samples from a wonderful shirt and suit designer/maker in D.C.
These fabrics have been sent to me to save them from ending up in the landfill because after the 'season' is over, there is no longer a use for them!!
So what I'm doing with this quilt is laying two pieces on each other, sewing a quirky square and then cutting out the top square to reveal the bottom fabric.

It's actually a lot of fun and I think it's looking quite cool!
Go Recycle, go!!
