Today I finished a top for the daughter of a family in Ohio from her father's clothing and I think it is beautiful!
I tried to use as many different colors as possible in her quilt and really mixed it up.
I also put on a light grey border so that it would match her "oil slick" backing her mom chose.
I will add the binding in the purple backing fabric as well so it will give it a nice pop but not compete with the actual quilt top fabrics.
One down three to go!!
